GradWeb join partners Network Rail to provide insight into the success of their graduate recruitment initiative; Track and Train

Event hosted by AGR on 24th February 2012, Handling Application Overload Master class, which
highlights successful recruitment outsourcing partnership.

Last month GradWeb announced the start of its relationship with the Rail Industry through the launch of the Track & Train initiative. The nationwide programme, funded by Network Rail is supported by 27 companies across the rail sector and aimed at people who have graduated from university in the last 2 years. The Track & Train initiative will last for 18 months, and is designed specifically to give up to 100 graduates an insight into each of the main elements of the rail industry.

Despite the short 3 week application window, the Track and Train programme has seen a huge level of interest from candidates, which has been reflected in its vast numbers of applications.  Following the success of the branding and recruitment advertising campaign implemented by GradWeb’s Intelligent Attraction team, it is now imperative that the innovative Track and Train brand is noted for the positive experience that candidates are having as they progress through to the assessment and selection process.

Whilst employers are all aware of the necessity of ensuring a positive candidate experience, increasing pressures placed on in-house recruiters often means very few are able to invest the amount of time required to effectively implement the steps required to achieve this.  As a result, GradWeb will be joining Network Rail at the upcoming AGR Handling Application Overload - Master class on 24th February 2012 to provide insight into the practical measures necessary to ensure a successful campaign, supported with examples that have been realised from a first-class client:supplier partnership which has been developed over the last 10 years.

Network Rail, will give an insight into the benefits they gain from outsourcing as well as sharing her thoughts on the key ingredients to ensuring a successful relationship with your outsource partner. Ben Jackson, Commercial Director at GradWeb, will contribute the suppliers’ perspective and will cover steps that can and should be taken to mitigate against some of the perceived risks of outsourcing.

We hope to see many of you at the AGR Handling Application Overload Master class, if you would like to take this opportunity to meet GradWeb at this event, feel free to contact us at: info@gradweb.co.uk
