After much persuasion Emily Gale, Sarah Roche, Philip Wright and Becky Miners agreed to abseil 100ft down the outside of the stadium as part of an annual event organised by The Stroke Association. They told us that the experience was “both terrifying and rewarding in equal parts”. The day was a great success, and helped to raise over £110,000 on the day, which will go towards helping the Stroke Association to provide support for those who have been affected by strokes, and to work towards preventing strokes.
